The Annual Health Check (AHC) is a check of the health services provided by the PCT. Standards for Better Health sets out 24 core standards that are mandatory for every Trust. Each year the Care Quality Commission (CQC - formerly the Healthcare Commission) assesses how well organisations are doing against those standards.
The PCT has submitted declarations on how they think they have performed against the core standards between 1st April 2008 and 31st March 2009. This year the PCT has made declarations as, both, a provider and a commissioner of services.
